"We don't want to have to cut the grass" Progress Update

If you have been reading some of my other posts, you would have seen this project has involved a number of different items that I have disscussed. The purpose of this post is to present a few photos of progress on the work been done on the large terrace and its flower beds.

With the black soil in, I could begin laying the irrigation.

I installed a drip line system in these beds as sprinklers would be ineffectual with the proposed amount of plants blocking the sprinkler sprays.

All of the beds were installed with this system.

This photo shows how things are coming together, and a hint of the views the owners will enjoy when we are done.

From the other side, we can see the gazebo at the back.

In this photo, there is still some concrete work to be done between the last bed and the existing ditch.

We were installing plant life as it was being purchased by the clients.

This tree is my favourite so far.

The plan is for a lot of flowers. The different colors will look great when we are done.

A spot light has been installed near the tree. The clients requested that this light be on a long cord, so that it can be moved around as they so wish.

Plants are slowly filling up the beds.

Soon these beds will be filled to the brim with plants of all different shapes, sizes and colours.

These shots were taken at night.

There are eight LED lights under the bench. These are all controlled by a switch in the outdoor kitchen area.

You can see that spot light highlighting the tree I like.
