The following are pictures of some stone work we are in the process of completing. The stone was obtained from a quarry a few hours away and comes in slabs or 'lajas'. Some of these pieces are thick and we needed to split them first so they would semi conform with the rest. These were all placed on the wall with jamo, a thin set.
This is the main entrance to the house.
The entrance vestibule was also covered in the same material
Here we are working on a wall in the lounge.
A corridor was also stoned, this was the route to the master suite.
