Another Rock Wall

A few months ago, we completed a rock wall installation at another property. I would like to share some of these photos with you.

Click 'Read More'  below to see the entire post.

We installed the wall around all four sides of the property's lot line.

The wall was approximately one meter high along the sides and a across the back.

With a 50cm high wall running along the front.

The back garden was set at a lower elevation than the sides.

Because of this, a step was added in the wall on each side.

Another wall was also built across the change in land elevation.

This was true on both sides of the house, as it ran from the building to the boundary wall.

The front wall went right across, only leaving gaps for the driveway entrances.

The grass did take a bit of a beating during the wall construction and installation of the irrigation system, but it recovered quickly.

At the front, we used a slope in the wall height as opposed to a step, to drop from one meter to 50cm.

We built steps on both sides of the property, using the 'Rock In Concrete' method.

A slight difference between the elevation of the ground meant that one side required lest concrete steps than the other.
