Entertainment Gazebo Update

I would like to add some progress photos on the gazebo I mentioned in the post "Entertainment Gazebo"

Click 'Read More' below to see the latest photos of this project.

Before installing the ceiling, we had to make provision for four recess lights and a fan with light unit in the center. I ran these wires myself one afternoon, leaving the loops above ready for the recess lights.

The wall tiles grew more and more on everybody as time passed.

From the exterior, the building is certainly a little different from the surrounding architecture, but the need for its flat roof will be revealed in a future post.

We began installing the trims for the ceiling material.

This particular ceiling material has a simulated wood grain finish to it and comes in a variety of colours. In this case, the client chose a cream colour and I think it goes well with the wall tiles.

The holes for the fixtures were cut after the ceiling material was installed.

And the wires were pulled through, ready for installation.

The unit is taking shape, and is ready for the counter top.

I installed a concrete counter top in this kitchen. I dedicated this work to its own posts, which you can read by following: "Concrete Countertop""Countertop Polishing" & "Staining The Top"

This picture was taken before staining. Eventually the countertop would end up blue.

I was worried about applying the acid stain. If it came in contact with the tiles or any other areas, we would probably never get it out, so we had to employ some extensive masking of everything else.

Work is progressing and I shall provide future updates as we close out this particular project.
