We ended the previous post with the levelling of the soil ready for the grass. Here we see the unloading of the grass, which was immediately installed.

The roller was used to smooth out the soil and level the grass.

We laid hundreds of meters each day. I had most of the workers helping out with this task.

The newly laid grass looked initially a bit patchy and rough.

I left a little space around the pathway because we were still working on it.

With most of the grass down, the lawn made the project look almost finished.

The pathway was also nearing completion. This work took a long time because of the time it takes to find the correct types of rock to be used.

After some time and some rain, the grass greened up and became an even colour throughout.

You can see in some of the photos a round structure in the middle of the lawn. (middle-right in this photo) This will be discussed in its own post.

We also installed some grass on the lower bed than ran along the road.
