When we started the Boquete Canyon Village Clubhouse renovation, the pool was always going to be an integral part of the whole project. When we began the main pool's concrete structure was already in place. Our work would not only involve finishing the original pool, but also adding an additional dip area.

In this post, I would like to share some photos of some work we are doing as part of a landscaping project.

The clients plan to build a larger house on their property in the future, but for the moment they wanted to landscape the area around the guest house which had just been completed.

I have not written on this blog for a while, but we have been busy, so I have some catching up to do.

This post is to show you some designs for a a terrace roof on an existing house. The client had been living in the property for some time and decided to cover an existing terrace with a new roof. He always said that it was a nusence as it was because the rain would easily pour into the windows when it rained because there was no overhang, and generally he wanted to enjoy his terrace and the views when the weather was bad.

So we talked about some designs, and I converted them into some models.

If you have been reading some of my other posts, you would have seen this project has involved a number of different items that I have disscussed. The purpose of this post is to present a few photos of progress on the work been done on the large terrace and its flower beds.

Rock In Concrete

Here I would like to share some photos of some work using rock set into concrete. The employee who does this for me is becoming a master of it, and our previous examples of this type of work, keep generating me more business.

Curved Bench

This post includes some pics of a curved bench we have been working on.

Made from block and poured concrete, it follows a similar style to other items on this particular landscaping project.

This post is an update on an earlier post "We don't want to have to cut the grass"

We've made some good progress on this project and are in it's final stages. Today we were filling the flower beds with the finished soil and closing out the painting.

Most of the jobs I have undertaken on this particular devlopment have involved back gardens dominated by large areas of open grass, with the odd flower bed in corners and edges. So it has been a pleasure to break from the local norm here and create a different type of back yard.

The owners are certainly not against a lot of flowers, so we have added large, interesting, flower beds. The majority of these have a lip around them so people can sit wherever they feel like and enjoy the surrounding views.

Here we are pouring the last section of terrace. All of this concrete was eventually covered with a rough textured floor tile. To help prevent anyone slipping on a wet day.
